The Northeast Raiders football team defeated Putnam County on Friday Night. By a score of 22-6
The Raiders were led by senior Quaterback Mike Palmer who fushed for 125 yards on 12 carries, including a 76 yard Touchdown run. palmer also had (1) interception on defense. Calvinaugh Mitchell had 51 yards rushing on 9 carries, with a 9 yard T.D. Run. Deviene Hill Had 2 catches for 34 yards with a 19 yard T.D. reception. He had (1) T.D. run called back
The Raider defense was anchored by Trez Williams who had 6 tackles, 4 assist, 1 quaterback sack, and 2 interceptions. Mike Bryant had 2 quaterback sacks. Senior Derial Watson had a fumber recovery, 2 tackles, and a quaterback sack. Demond Soloman had 4 tackles and 2 assist. The Raiders defense held Putnam to only 7 yards rushing and 93 yards in passing.
The Raiders will play Greene County on Friday at Thompson Stadium. A win will give the Raiders the top spot in the Region. Come out and support the MIGHTY RAIDERS!!!
